Water Proof And Breathable

• 6000mm water resistance H2O
• Shield is a porous membrane layer with a structure that allows vapor to pass through.
• Resolve the issue with regular PVC covers forming mold and mildew inside the cover.
• This type of material is commonly used in wound dressings, outdoor clothing, and other applications where moisture evaporation is required.
• On windy days, adjust the click-close hem cord to keep your cover secure.
• For easy handling and ventilation, a patent-pending side window/handle has been developed.
• Fabric that is durable, anti-tearing, and anti-scratch.
• Ventilation is provided in two ways: through ventilation windows and breathable fabric.
• The inside fabric is soft velvet, which protects your furniture.

Shield Membraneis made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) (TPU). TPU was created for the first time in 1937. The material is known for a variety of qualities, including high elongation and tensile strength, elasticity, and the ability to resist oil, grease, solvents, chemicals, and abrasion to varying degrees. TPU is distinguished by its segmented structure, which is made up of hard segments (HSs) and soft segments (SSs) (SSs).The soft segments expand as the temperature rises, forming tiny pores on the membrane that allow water molecules to pass through. SSs, on the other hand, tighten up and close up those pores in the cold. As a result, the material's strength and insulation properties improve dramatically, helping to keep wind and dirt out of the cover and reducing the chance of wear and tear from wind and cold weather, extending the cover's life. We developed a unique process at Hentex for laminating TPU to the outer and inner shells to create the SHIELD outdoor cover.
