With a 4.7 litre capacity, this Le Creuset Signature Sea Salt Cast Iron 29cm Oval Casserole is the ideal size when cooking for 6 people. Just as versatile as Le Creusets round casseroles, this oval version cuts down on the space taken up in the oven. It can also be used on all types of hob, including induction, or under a grill.

The cast iron construction is excellent at retaining heat, resulting in even cooking and browning. It will also keep cooked food warmer for longer when serving at the table. The tight-fitting lid also helps the cooking process by locking in moisture and enhancing flavour.

The light enamel interior makes cleaning easier whilst the large handles are easy to grip when lifting the casserole, even when wearing oven gloves. The heat-resistant knob (oven safe up to 260C) also provides a better grip when wearing oven gloves or mitts.
