Grill for Good directly supports For a Reason (FAR), a 501c charity with the primary mission to help fulfill the educational aspirations of impoverished students of Haiti through tuition assistance, educational materials, and family support. Once committed to a student, FAR promises to accompany them throughout their educational journey, from elementary to university, and beyond, including professional training. Since its inception, the Grill for Good Campaign has raised over a quarter of a million dollars, built two Kitchen Facilities For rural school communities, rebuilt numerous homes that recent natural disasters have destroyed, and allowed more students to be able to continue their education in a country where fewer than 50% of the population attends school.
