The Dimplex DLW Series 54-Inch 2400 Watt 240V Black Long Wave Infrared Electric Heater is a modern heater for indoor and Outdoor Enclosed Area spaces that can be Wall or Ceiling Mounted with the included Standard Mounting Brackets so you can focus the heat in a specific area.

With2400 watts of heating power, this outdoor/indoor long-waveinfrared heater runs much cooler at 300C, and depending upon the ambient temperature, the unit takes approximately 15 minutes to heat to maximum temperature and approximately 30 minutes to cool down, making it perfect for those chilly days and nights.

In optimal conditions, these units can heat up to44 sq ft. for an outdoor enclosed area or up to58 sq ft indoors. The unit comes fully assembled, simply mount and hardwire using the easy to accesstop mounted junction box.

The ideal mounting position is on the ceiling, directly above the area to be heated. For ceiling heights greater than105", suspended mounting or installation with the optional extension poles (sold separately) is recommendedto reduce the height of the heater from 96" to 105". This will increase the effectiveness of your heater.

When installing outdoors we recommend the heater is positioned where it will be protected from exposure to extreme weather such as snow and ice.

It is recommended to use a timer switch that will automatically turn off the heater after a preset amount of time

Having a heater that's too high for your room can be frustrating because you're not getting the most out of it. For ceiling heights greater than 105", installation with the optional Extension Mount Polesis recommended.
